THE ADAMSON University Baby Falcons soared past the UST Tiger Cubs in a 43-point blowout, 86-43, in their UAAP encounter at the Filoil Arena in San Juan Saturday.
Adamson encountered little opposition, mounting an early 29-15 lead. The Baby Falcons tallied 30 points off the Tiger Cubs’ 33 turnovers.
Gerry Austin Abadiano and Florecio Serrano chalked up 21 and 16 points, respectively, for the Baby Falcons.
Inand Fornillos led the Tigers with 10 points and 14 rebounds.
“We were not able to handle their pressure defense which also got them uncontested layups,” UST assistant coach Jose Luis Monfort said in an interview with the Varsitarian.
UST, now with 1-4 card, will face the FEU-Diliman Baby Tamaraws on Saturday, 1 p.m., at the same venue. I. R. L. Suing
