THE FOUNDER of UST Salinggawi Dance Troupe Emerita Basilio died in her sleep on Friday morning. She was 97.
Basilio’s daughter, Lynette, confirmed the death of her mother to the Varsitarian.
Basilio was the former UST Physical Education Department assistant director in the 1980s.
Basilio’s wake will go on from Feb. 2 to 4 at the San Martin de Porres Parish in Parañaque City.
Details of her interment are yet to be disclosed.
