A GROUP of UST alumni on Thursday called for a “fair” verdict as the UAAP was set to release its findings on the alleged training “bubble” conducted by coach Aldin Ayo for the Growling Tigers in his home province of Sorsogon despite the COVID-19 lockdown.

The group, which identified itself as Tiger Pack, also cautioned against individuals “both from the outside or from among our ranks, who wish to sow dissent and pull us in many directions.”

“We pray for a just conclusion and a fair resolution so that we can return to the task of facing the challenges of global scope that have forced us to be away temporarily from each other,” it said in a statement, which was issued amid rumors that Ayo had resigned.

“In good times and bad, we are one community. We are one family. The sea of yellow is the spectacle you get when we band together,” the group said.

UST is under fire over the Sorsogon training, which came to light after team captain CJ Cansino was allegedly removed from the Tigers.

Brent Paraiso Rhenz Abando, Ira Bataller, and Jun Asuncion quit the team shortly after.

UST presented its report on the investigation to the UAAP board on Sept. 1. M.U. Cotongan
