The UST Golden Booters bounced back with a dominant win over the Adamson Soaring Falcons, 3-0, in the UAAP Season 85 men’s football tournament at the UP Diliman Football Stadium on Sunday. 

Golden Booters Uriel Villacarlos and Sam Alegre converted a goal in the 3rd and 30th minutes, respectively, to give UST a 2-0 lead by halftime. 

Adamson’s Arnulfor Villanueva was ejected from the game after throwing an elbow, while Ruzzel Jose was called on with a red card resulting in the Soaring Falcons only having nine players on the field 

Golden Booter Rafel Gorre capitalized as the Soaring Falcons were outmanned and scored a goal in the 87th minute.

UST garnered a total of 10 points on a 3-1-4 win-draw-loss record, while Adamson remained at the last spot with one point on one draw and eight losses.

The UST Golden Booters will next face the UP Fighting Maroons at the same venue on April 13, Thursday, at 6:30 p.m.
