UST Golden Booters notch first Ang Liga win vs. EAC
July 25, 2015, 8:07p.m. - THE UST Golden Booters cruised past the Emilio Aguinaldo College Generals, 3-0, for their first win in the Ang Liga Tournament at the FEU Diliman Stadium, Quezon City, on July 25.
Despite a lethargic start, the Golden Booters found their groove in the second half when they scored two of their goals. They now have a 1-1 win-loss record, the defeat coming at the hands of the Far Eastern University Tamaraws.
UST's Gelo Facturan and Algier Fuchigami sealed the win after finding the back of the net in the 53rd and 81st minute, respectively.
