June 15, 2015, 12:41 p.m. - THE UST Growling Tigers banked on a late run to surge past the San Beda College Red Lions, 75-72, and enter the finals of the 21st Fr. Martin Cup at the Arellano University Gym Monday.

Down by nine in the third period, the Tigers unleashed a barrage of 3-pointers led by Kent Lao to go ahead, 70-66, with less than two minutes left.

A three-point play by Ed Daquioag sealed the win for UST.

Lao, who buried three triples in UST's fourth-quarter rally, led the Tigers with 22 points. Daquioag and Louie Vigil added 16 apiece.

May 26, 2015, 3:59 p.m. - THE UST Golden Booters suffered a devastating 0-7 shutout against local powerhouse Loyola FC in Group C of the United Football League (UFL) Cup 2015 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium Sunday.

Despite UST's solid defensive stops in the first half, Loyola went on a scoring spree in the second half led by Graham Caygill who fired his first goal in the 46th minute.

Loyola kept pounding UST's defense and scored goals in the 76th and 82nd minute courtesy of Napoleon Bustillo.

April 30, 2015, 10:46 a.m. - THE UST Growling Tigers banked on a fiery fourth quarter to blast the Mapua Cardinals, 78-59, and notch their first win in the 2015 Filoil Flying V Hanes Premier Cup at the San Juan Arena Tuesday.

The still undermanned UST side bounced back following a close opening day loss against the University of the East.

Mario Bonleon led the Growling Tigers anew as he unloaded 13 consecutive points in a 17-3 UST run to establish a 15-point lead in the fourth quarter, 72-57.

March 1, 2015, 12:12 p.m. - NATIONAL University completed a double-championship as the Lady Bulldogs beat the UST Female Tennisters, 3-0, in Game 2 best-of-three UAAP women's lawn tennis finals at the Olivarez Sports Center Saturday.

The Female Tennisters had no answer for the now back-to-back titlists and failed to score a single win in their championship round.

Veteran Macy Gonzales and Kendies Malinis both lost to NU's Patrimonio sisters who dominated their respective singles matches.

Feb. 23, 2015, 3:24 p.m. - NATIONAL University inched closer to a double championship after a dominant 3-0 win against the UST Female Tennisters in Game 1 of the UAAP Season 77 women's lawn tennis finals at the Olivarez Sports Center Sunday.

Coming off a tough playoff win over La Salle last Saturday, the Female Tennisters fell flat against a well-rested Lady Bulldogs squad who drew first blood in the best-of-three series.

NU's Jzach Canja and Marie Nagret pounced on the UST pair of Shymae Gitalan and Genevieve Caorte in the second doubles match, 6-0, 6-3, for an early lead.

Feb. 21, 2015, 11:40 p.m. - NATIONAL University claimed its third consecutive championship by out classifieds the UST Male Tennisters, 4-1, in the UAAP Season 77 men's lawn tennis finals at the Olivarez Sports Center Saturday.

The UST Female Tennisters edged De La Salle University in a do-or-die match, 3-2, to book a finals ticket against the Lady Bulldogs.

The Male Tennisters improved from their fourth-place finish last season with their gallant stand against the undefeated Bulldogs.

Feb. 15, 2015, 11:22 p.m. - DESPITE suffering sorry defeats, the UST Tennisters' championship aspirations remain intact in the UAAP Season 77 lawn tennis tournament at the Olivarez Sports Center Sunday.

The Male Tennisters qualified for a slot in the finals despite losing to defending champion National University, 0-5. De La Salle University tripped the Female Tennisters, 2-3, setting up one last game to decide who will enter the finals between the two squads.

The Male Tennisters, who finished the elimination round with a 7-3 win-loss card, will face NU again, but this time for the championship.

Feb. 8, 2015, 8:02 p.m. - THE UST Male Tennisters barely escaped cellar-dweller Ateneo de Manila University, 3-2, in the UAAP men's lawn tennis tournament at the Olivares Sports Center Sunday.

The Female Tennisters bowed down to National University, 0-5, losing their second consecutive game in the second round.

The Male Tennisters avoided an upset and improved to a 6-2 win-loss record and remain in contention for the top two spots.
