NU sweeps UST in UAAP tennis finals
March 1, 2015, 12:12 p.m. - NATIONAL University completed a double-championship as the Lady Bulldogs beat the UST Female Tennisters, 3-0, in Game 2 best-of-three UAAP women's lawn tennis finals at the Olivarez Sports Center Saturday.
The Female Tennisters had no answer for the now back-to-back titlists and failed to score a single win in their championship round.
Veteran Macy Gonzales and Kendies Malinis both lost to NU's Patrimonio sisters who dominated their respective singles matches.

FORMER UST volleyball superstar and three-time UAAP champion Mozzy Ravena described Season 77 as "disappointing" for the Golden Tigresses after another failed attempt to enter the Final Four.
The mother of Ateneo star Kiefer Ravena told the Varsitarian that the Tigresses should learn from their mistakes this year especially since the team was close to finally returning to the semifinals after years of absence.

Feb. 28, 2015, 8:13 p.m. - THE UST Tiger Spikers will miss a shot at the UAAP crown after an 18-25, 23-25, 23-25 defeat against defending champion National University Bulldogs in their do-or-die Final Four match at the Smart Araneta Coliseum Saturday.
The second-seeded Tiger Spikers squandered a twice-to-beat advantage to a more experienced NU squad, which will try to claim its third consecutive championship against Ateneo De Manila University in a finals rematch.
UST Golden Sox end disappointing season at 4th place

Feb. 25, 2015, 8:35 p.m. - A FIFTH-set meltdown cost the UST Golden Tigresses the last Final Four ticket as they bowed to the Far Eastern University Lady Tamaraws, 21-25, 15-25, 25-20, 25-16, 6-15, in their semifinal playoff match at the Mall of Asia Arena Wednesday.
The Golden Tigresses missed the Final Four for the third straight year.
NU edges Tiger Spikers to force rubber match
Feb. 24, 2015, 5:07 p.m. - TWO-TIME defending champion National University erased the UST Tiger Spikers' twice-to-beat advantage with a 26-24, 28-26, 23-25, 25-21 victory in the Final Four of the UAAP Season 77 men's volleyball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena Wednesday.
UST had the chance to win the first two sets of the match, but the Tiger Spikers crumbled down the stretch and allowed the Bulldogs to complete their comebacks.

Coming off a tough playoff win over La Salle last Saturday, the Female Tennisters fell flat against a well-rested Lady Bulldogs squad who drew first blood in the best-of-three series.
NU's Jzach Canja and Marie Nagret pounced on the UST pair of Shymae Gitalan and Genevieve Caorte in the second doubles match, 6-0, 6-3, for an early lead.
UST Golden Booters suffer worst UAAP season ever
Feb. 23, 2015, 3:05 p.m. - THE UST Golden Booters capped their worst UAAP Season ever with another heartbreaking defeat against Ateneo de Manila University, 1-2, at the FEU Diliman pitch Sunday.
UST finished at sixth place, its worst showing in UAAP history, with a 4-10 win-loss card. The Golden Booters missed the Final Four for only the second time in 13 years.
