THE UST Junior Golden Tigresses hammered the Adamson University Junior Lady Falcons, 25-21, 20-25, 25-19, 25-23, in the UAAP season 82 girls’ volleyball tournament at the Blue Eagle Gym Sunday
The Tigresses dominated the service department with 15 aces against Adamson’s nine.
Regina Jurado and Mary Joe Coronado led UST with 19 and 15 markers, respectively.
Kate Santiago posted 16 points for Adamson.
UST remained second in the standings with a 7-2 win-loss slate while Adamson slid to 4-4.
The Junior Golden Tigresses will next face the University of the East Junior Junior Lady Warriors on Oct. 16, Wednesday, 1:30 p.m. at the Paco Arena.
