UST admin cuts tuition hike
March 26, 2015, 11:46 p.m. - THE UNIVERSITY administration has slashed next academic year's tuition hikes to just 2.5-5.3 percent from 5-8 percent, after strong opposition from students.

Feb. 20, 2015, 11:35 p.m. - THE CENTRAL Student Council (CSC) and the Central Board of students rejected the proposed five- to eight-percent tuition increase during a consultation with University administrators Friday.
Faculty of Civil Law Student Council President and Central Board speaker Victor Villanueva vowed to prevent the implementation of the proposed tuition increase, which he said was unjustifiable.
UST proposes 5-8 percent tuition hike
Feb. 19, 2015, 1:11 p.m. - THE UNIVERSITY administration is proposing a five to eight-percent increase in tuition per unit for academic year 2015-2016.
Under the proposed schedule of fees, the increases amount to P67 per unit for first-year students, P100 per unit for second-year students, P101 per unit for third-year students, and P64 per unit for fourth- and fifth-year students.
