May 3, 2016, 12:47p.m. – TWO UST professors are set spearhead the National Association of Certified Public Accountants in Education.

Professors Antonio Dayag and Earl Jimson Garcia of the UST-Alfredo M. Velayo College of Accountancy, will serve the association as president and assistant treasurer, respectively, until 2017.

Dayag, the former vice president for external affairs, will replace former Iriga councilor Omar Erasmo Ampongan as president.

Dayag, a veteran accounting professor, is the author of books on practical accounting and advanced accounting.

Garcia had served as chairman of management accounting at the College of Accountancy.
