THE SAN Beda Red Lions dropped an early 16-0 bomb and routed the UST Growling Tigers, 86-59, in the 11th Filoil Flying V Preseason Premier Cup at the Arena in San Juan Sunday.
The Red Lions remained undefeated in five games while UST dropped to a 1-5 win-loss record.
Javee Mocon paced San Beda with nine points, four rebounds and two assists while Arnaud Noah chipped in eight markers and seven boards.
Jeepy Faundo had 14 points and seven rebounds for the Tigers while Jordan Sta. Ana added 11 points.
The Tigers will wrap up their Filoil campaign against the Lyceum of the Philippines University Pirates on Monday, June 12, 3:15 p.m., at the same venue.
