THE UST Junior Golden Tigresses kept their undefeated streak by blowing past the Adamson University Baby Lady Falcons, 25-19, 25-23, 25-15, in the UAAP Season 80 girls’ volleyball tournament at the UST Quadricentennial Pavillon Sunday.

UST used a 15-6 run to take a 23-12 lead in the third set. The Lady Falcons threatened with three-straight points but committed two errors in the ensuing play, 25-15.

Tied at 23-all in the second set, UST took a 2-0 set lead with an Imee Hernandez drop and Eya Laure crosscourt attack.

“Kailangan lang namin this second round lahat ng wins namin convincing na talaga. Kailangan naming maging precise sa mga ginagawa namin,” UST head coach Emilio “Kung Fu” Reyes Jr. said.

Lady Falcon Jhudielle Quizon’s service error in the first set gave UST an early advantage, 25-19.

UST had 21 errors while Adamson piled up 27. The Tigresses exploited the Falcons’ faulty floor defense with nine aces.

Laure led UST with 13 points.

Grecelchen Ave had six points for Adamson.

The Tigresses (7-0) will face the Far Eastern University on Oct. 16, Monday, 9:30 a.m., at the Arena in San Juan.
