THE UST Junior Golden Tigresses barged into the semifinals after thrashing the De La Salle-Zobel Junior Lady Spikers, 25-16, 25-15, 25-22, in the UAAP Season 80 girls’ volleyball tournament at the Arena in San Juan Wednesday.
The Junior Tigresses notched their seventh straight-set win of the season and remained undefeated in nine games.
With the third frame tied at 22, the Tigresses fired three consecutive points sealed by Merry Rose Jauculan’s service ace, 25-22.
The Tigresses will gun for their 10th straight win against the University of the Philippines Integrated School on Nov. 5, Sunday, at 3:30 p.m. at the same venue.
