TAKING another big step to promote its public presence, the University launched the first school-based digitally animated and video-formatted electronic billboard.
“Through the e-billboard, UST would be able to project in the most electronically updated way and in maximum public exposure, the important announcements, advocacies, and creative advertisements that allow the University to communicate to people the values that she upholds,” Secretary-General Fr. Isidro Abaño said.
Mercury Drug, whose president Vivien Que Azcona is an alumna of the University, sponsored the billboard’s construction.
Fr. Abaño said the University will be accepting offers for advertisements, which will be managed by AdReflex International, the company which takes charge of marketing and the programming.
Student advertisements may also be posted on the e-board.
The board, which will operate from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., was launched last Nov. 8 at the Millennium (España) Gate. Lady Camille L. de Guia and Richard L. Rodriguez
