Dec. 12, 2014, 10:07 a.m. – THE UNIVERSITY’S passing
rate in the recent licensure examination for civil engineers declined to 87.76
percent from last year’s 91.79 percent, but one Thomasian finished third place.

UST placed fourth overall with 215 passing out of 245
Thomasian examinees, results from the Professional Regulation Commission
showed. Last year, 179 out of 195 examinees passed, placing UST second on the
list of top-performing schools.

Ricci Ryan Rojo, who placed third, led this year’s batch of
Thomasian civil engineers with a score of 95.60 percent. Last year, three
Thomasians made it to the top 10.

The University of the Philippines-Los Baños was named top
performing school after all its 72 examinees passed.

The national passing rate went up to 49.48 percent or 4,021
passers out of 8, 127 examinees, from last year’s 48.12-percent passing rate or
3,168 passers out of 6,584 examinees. A. F. Merez

  1. Walang kwenta kayo magbigay ng title. Nagbigay kami ng isang malaking karangalan sa UST tapos iyan pa napansin niyo? Yung from 2nd to 4th top performing school??? Ganyan ba ang Varsitarian ngayon??!?! Wala talaga kayong maaapreciate sa mga taong nagbibigay ng parangal sa UST. Thomasian nga kayo pero wala kayong Thomasian Spirit.
