May 8, 2015, 5:00 a.m. – THE UNIVERSITY emerged as the
second top-performing school in the April librarian licensure examinations,
with an 87.88-percent passing rate.

This year, 29 out of 33 Thomasian examinees made the cut, an
improvement from last year wherein only three out of seven examinees passed.

The University of the Philippines-Diliman was named
top-performing school, will all its 26 students passing the exams.

This year’s national passing rate also improved to 47.04
percent or 349 passers out of 742 examinees, from last year’s  27.95 or 149 passers out of 533 examinees. Roberto
