Nov. 10 2016, 10:11 p.m. – Three Thomasians landed in the top 10 list of passers in the November 2016 interior design board examinations. 

UST posted a 65.79-percent passing rate with 75 Thomasians passing the test out of 114 examinees, results from the Professional Regulation Commission showed. This was lower than last year’s 69.49-percent passing rate, or 41 passers out of 59 examinees.

Leading the new batch of Thomasian interior designers was Maria Carla Sebastian (84.25 percent), who landed on the sixth spot.

Thomasians Miriam Louise de Jesus (84.05 percent) and Pauline Dominique Uy (83.9 percent) placed seventh and ninth, respectively.

The University of the Philippines-Diliman remained the lone top-performing school, with a passing rate of 95.35 percent or 41 passers out of 43 examinees.

The national passing rate went down to 50.84 percent, with 213 examinees passing out of 419 takers. Last year’s passing rate was 60.71 percent, with 204 making the cut out of 336 examinees. Maria Crisanta M. Paloma
