The UST Central Commission on Elections (Comelec) has announced that this year’s student council elections would be held from April 4 to 8.
The filing of certificates of candidacy will begin on March 1. Candidates will be given until March 4 to submit documents.
The UST Central Comelec will release the official list of candidates on March 4.
Campaigning will be allowed from March 5 to 17 and from March 30 to Apr. 2. The miting de avance will be held on the last day of the campaign period.
The canvassing of votes and proclamation of winners for central and local student councils will be on April 8.
All activities for this year’s student polls will remain virtual, as Covid-19 continues to limit on-campus activities.
