THREE Thomasians clinched spots in the July 2022 licensure examinations for master plumbers, in which UST posted a 76.67-percent passing rate or 46 out of 60 examinees.
Jillianne Espinosa led the new batch of Thomasian master plumbers after ranking fifth nationwide with a score of 85.40 percent.
She was followed by Edison Gerona (No. 7, 85 percent) and Ferdinand Laurente (No. 9, 84.40 percent).
UST’s passing rate declined from 92.12 percent, or 32 out of 34 examinees, in February 2022.
Michaelle Arnedo of the University of San Carlos topped the July 2022 exams with an 87.20-percent score.
The University of the Philippines Diliman was named the top-performing school after posting a perfect passing rate.
The national passing rate dropped to 51.28 percent or 1,900 of 3,705 examinees from 62.37 percent or 776 out of 1,244 examinees.
The examinations were held from July 16 to 17.
