A THOMASIAN ranked seventh in the October 2022 licensure examinations for chemical engineers, in which UST notched a 61.60-percent passing rate.

Denver Pascua scored 84.50 percent to lead the new batch of Thomasian chemical engineers.

Seventy-seven out of 125 Thomasians passed the examinations, increasing UST’s passing rate from 47.17 percent, or 25 out of 53 examinees, in May 2022.

Jerome Garces of De La Salle University topped the examination with 89.30 percent.

The University of the Philippines Diliman was named the top-performing school after posting a 96.36-percent passing rate.

The national passing rate slightly decreased to 51.25 percent (531 out of 1,036 examinees) from 56.69 percent (585 out of 1,032 examinees) in May.
