The UST Tiger Tracksters collected five medals on Day 3 of the UAAP Season 86 athletics tournaments at the PhilSports Track Oval in Pasig on Friday, Nov. 24.

Leonalyn Raterta notched silver after clocking 15:46.48 in the women’s 3000-meter walk.

Khrizzie Ruzol and Jessa Libres nabbed silver and bronze, respectively, after both surpassed the 3.10-meter bar in the women’s pole vault event. Ruzol finished second via countback.

Record-breaker Lianna Pama continued to rack up medals, adding a bronze to her bag after banding with Mailene Pamisaran, Charlize Villanueva and team captain Justine Catindoy in the women’s 4×100-meter relay event with a 48.29-second output for a third-place finish.

John Butiong grabbed the Male Tracksters’ lone medal of the day with a 54.67-meter output in the men’s javelin throw, good for third place.

The UST Female Tracksters improved to a 4-3-3 gold-silver-bronze medal tally, while the Male Tracksters had a 2-0-1 record.

The UST Tigers Tracksters will continue their Season 86 campaigns at the same venue on Saturday, Nov. 25, at 1 p.m.
