July 5, 2015, 3:59 p.m. – FOURTEEN UST Tiger Paddlers
advanced to the knockout stage in the singles event of the Philippine National
Games (PNG) table tennis tournament at the Harrison Plaza in Malate, Manila
Saturday.
Six out of the 13 UST Lady Paddlers made the cut for the
next round, while eight of their 16 male counterparts also advanced.
UST Paddlers coach Jackson Que said the PNG was to test his
wards, especially the younger members, now that the UAAP season is near.
“Test din [ito] sa kanila [para malaman] kung nasaan na yung
level nila ngayon,” Que said.
Action resumes for the UST Paddlers on Sunday, July 5, at
the same venue.
