UST Lady Booters exit at the bottom in UAAP football

Feb. 22, 2015, 10:34 a.m. - THE UST Lady Booters finished dead last in the UAAP season with a 2-6 win-loss card following a 0-1 loss at the hands of Ateneo de Manila University at the Moro Lorenzo pitch Sunday.

UST's Sheen Ramores almost tied the match at the 62nd minute, but her attempt curled out.

Ateneo's Kathleen Rodriguez delivered the lone goal of the match in the 55th minute off a half-volley kick in the left wing.

Golden Booters crash out of Final Four contention; Lady Booters miss finals

Feb. 15, 2015, 10:35 p.m. - THE UST Golden Booters kissed their Final Four hopes goodbye after a  0-6 shutout by the Far Eastern University in the UAAP Season 77 men's football tournament at the Moro Lorenzo field in Ateneo Sunday. 

UST, which finished third in Season 76, dropped to sixth place this year with a disappointing 4-9 win-loss card.

UST Lady Booters crash vs. UP

Jan. 11, 2015, 7:59 p.m. - THE UST Lady Booters came out flat ang fell against a fiery University of the Philippines squad, 0-4, in the UAAP Season 77 women's football tournament at the Moro Lorenzo Football Field in Ateneo Sunday.

As the second half unfolded, Lady Booter Hazel Lustan tried to lead a UST comeback in the 53rd minute, but UP goalie Jermaine Choa Peck held her ground.

Desperate to score in the dying minutes, UST's Nicole Ramores made one last attempt in the 88th minute but missed.

Golden Tigresses snap losing skid with big win vs. FEU

Jan. 10, 2015, 6:42 p.m. - THE UST Golden Tigresses arrested their five-game losing skid with a come-from-behind win over the Far Eastern University Lady Tamaraws,  21-25, 27-25, 25-16, 25-23, to cap round one of the UAAP Season 77 women’s volleyball tournament at the San Juan Arena Saturday.

Pamela Lastimosa scored 17 points, while rookie Cherry Rondina added a career-high 16 to power the Tigresses to only their second win in seven matches.

The Tigresses overcame a one-set deficit and a tough stand by the Lady Tamaraws to remain in the final four hunt.
