THE UST Tiger Cubs turned back the Saint Patrick’s School, 95-78, in the Fr. Martin Cup at San Beda College gym in Mendiola Sunday.
UST went for an 11-2 run in the second quarter to build a 12-point advantage and held the lead throughout the game.
Cyrus Narvasa paced the Cubs with 16 points while Shin Dela Cruz added 11 markers.
“Dito sa Fr. Martin, binabad ko ‘yung mga hindi ko nagamit kanina [sa Filoil] para bumalik ang kumpiyansa nila,” UST coach Chris Cantonjos told the Varsitarian.
UST defeated the the University of the Philippines Integrated School Junior Maroons in the 11th Filoil Flying V Premier Preseason Cup earlier today.
