A COLLEGE of Fine Arts and Design student won second place in the on-the-spot painting contest sponsored by the Art Association of the Philippines last June 29 at the AMA Computer University, Project 8, Quezon City.
Advertising senior M ark Ramsel Salvatus III’s oil painting on canvas earned him P20,000.
With the theme “Arts and I.T.,” the contest gathered more than 200 artists in the country from where 30 winners and finalists were chosen.
