THE COLLEGE of Nursing (Nursing) has shifted to the board exam format for its preliminary and final examinations.

“The new format, which started last prelim exams, will prepare the students for the board and so they could avoid technical errors,” Nursing college Secretary Jose Ricarte Origenes said.

The exams for the major subjects of all year levels used multiple choice type questions similar to the type of exams in the board examinations.

“It will develop the students test-taking skills,” Sumile said. “It is not only for fast memory recall but also for more integration and analysis.”

Computer scanners will check the tests so that the results will be determined right away.

“This saves time for us in the checking department,” Sumile said. “And the students can see their grades faster.” J. T. Villaflor
