A THOMASIAN emerged as the topnotcher in the December 2016 microbiologist certification examination, results from Philippine Academy of Microbiology showed.
Leading the new batch of microbiologists is Mark Carascal. He was followed by Ralph Bryan Hernandez and Jacquelyn Peran of the University of the Philippines in Los Baños.
Other Thomasians who passed the certification examination were Margareth Isagan and Jeanne Angel Lazarte.
The number of those who passed the exam increased to 22 from the previous year’s 16.
