THE UNIVERSITY posted a 100-percent passing rate in the June 2019 nursing licensure exams, continuing its perfect streak since 2015.
All six Thomasians, who were first-time takers, made the cut.
Jeremiah Paula Caceres of Angeles University Foundation and Almira Louise Hinsoy of West Visayas State University in La Paz, Iloilo led the country’s fresh batch of nurses, scoring 87.40 percent.
Silliman University, West Visayas State University-La Paz, and Xavier University were named top-performing schools with all three posting a perfect passing rate.
The national passing rate rose to 52.20 percent or 5,059 out of 9,691 examinees, from last year’s 43.82 percent or 4,326 out of 9,873.
