TIGER Media Network, the official broadcasting arm of the University of Santo Tomas, won three awards in the 80th Intercollegiate Broadcasting System College Media Conference last Sunday.

Communication major Kassie Gormley bagged the Best Sports Director title.

The UAAP Season 82 Kickoff Poster bagged the Best Show Promotional Poster award.

The Paskuhan 2018 Public Service Announcements claimed the Best Use of Graphics award.

Asst. Prof. Faye Abugan, assistant director for Broadcast of the UST Communications Bureau, received the awards in New York City.

“To be nominated at the IBS Student Awards means that our entry are among the top five percent of the more than 3,000 entries this year. I guess that’s a big win for TMN and UST,” Abugan’s social media post read.

The Intercollegiate Broadcasting System College Media Conference is a multimedia conference organized by Intercollegiate Broadcasting System, the oldest running collegiate broadcasting association in the United States.

The awarding ceremony was held at Hotel Pennsylvania in New York City.
