THE UNIVERSITY will have another two-day academic break from Oct. 13 to 14 ahead of the major examinations of the first term of Academic Year 2021 to 2022, according to the Office of the Secretary General.
UST previously implemented an academic break from Sept. 20 to 21 amid calls from students and due to the rising Covid-19 infections in the country.
“Let us also take advantage of this opportune time to reflect and seek God’s guidance and strength, that we may continue our mission despite the uncertainties and challenges of the time,” UST Secretary General Fr. Louie Coronel, O.P. said in an Oct. 5 memorandum.
Classes and office work in UST will also go on break in observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day, from Oct. 31 to Nov. 3.
Based on the official collegiate calendar released before the start of the current academic year, the Undas break was supposed to be a week-long break scheduled for Oct. 28 to Nov. 3.
Classes and office work will resume on Nov. 4.
