A THOMASIAN topped the October 2022 licensure examinations for nutritionist-dietitians, in which UST was the second top-performing school.

UST, the top producer of newly licensed nutritionist-dietitians in the examination cycle, notched a 97.87-percent passing rate or 92 out of 94 examinees.

Margaret Laurel led the new batch of nutritionist-dietitians with a 90.10-percent score.

Four other Thomasians joined Laurel in the top 10, namely Kohleen Caballero and Ren Panganiban (No. 6, 89.40 percent), Chelsea Rosal (No. 9, 89.10 percent), and Bea Romulo (No. 10, 89.05 percent).

The University of the Philippines Los Baños was named the top-performing school after all of its 58 examinees passed.

Central Mindanao University was the third-best school, posting a 96.67-percent passing rate or 29 out of 30 examinees.

The national passing rate for nutritionist-dietitians rose to 64.54 percent (719 of 1,114 examinees) from 57.77 percent (528 of 305 examinees) in October 2021.
