THE UNIVERSITY will hold a vaccination drive against Measles-Rubella (MR) and Polio on Sunday, May 21, to participate in the Department of Health’s (DOH) “Chikiting Ligtas” campaign.

UST and the Santisimo Rosario Parish Church partnered with the Manila Health Department to conduct the immunization activity.

MR vaccine doses for children nine to 59 months old and oral polio vaccine doses for children zero to 59 months old will be given for free.

These doses will be available from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the P. Noval Court.

Thomasian parents who wish to get their children vaccinated are required to bring the vaccination records of their kids.

The children must have received their last dose of MR and oral polio vaccine doses at least four weeks prior.

“Chikiting Ligtas” is the DOH’s supplemental vaccination campaign against measles, rubella, and polio for children. It was launched on April 27 and will run until May 31.
