THREE colleges will get five new administrators beginning Term 2 of the academic year, the Office of the Secretary General (OSG) has announced.

The appointment of new assistant deans for the College of Commerce and Business Administration and the Faculty of Arts and Letters (Artlets) was made public through an OSG circular dated Jan. 16.

Former Artlets faculty secretary Asst. Prof. John Kliatchko was named assistant dean. He will succeed Prof. Melanie Turingan, who took over the deanship last December.

Replacing Kliatchko as faculty secretary is Asst. Prof. Louie Ignacio, former chair of the Department of Political Science.

Asst. Prof. Francis de Jesus, who had helmed the Department of Marketing Management since 2019, was appointed Commerce assistant dean.

Assoc. Prof. Marie Antoinette Rosete will serve as the college secretary of Commerce. She is the former chair of the Department of Business Economics.

The Faculty of Pharmacy will have Elbert de Jesus of the Department of Medical Technology as its new secretary.

The Rector has so far named 14 new academic and administrative officials since the start of the calendar year.
