MAGBABALIK bilang courtside reporter ng UST si Angelique Manto para sa UAAP Season 79.
Muling magbibigay-ulat si Manto sa mga laro ng Tigers sa ikalawang pagkakataon, tulad ng sinundan niyang si Kristelle Batchelor na nagsilbi ring courtside reporter ng dalawang taon.
“It still feels so surreal and I’m just so happy to be given another year to work for the teams that I fell in love with,” ani Manto sa isang panayam sa the Varsitarian.
Bagaman hindi na mag-aaral ng Unibersidad, muling pinahintulutan ng ABS-CBN si Manto na magsilbing courtside reporter, tulad ni Tina Marasigan na alumna na ng UST noong ikalawang taon niya bilang courtside reporter.
Nagtapos si Manto ng kursong Communication Arts sa Fakultad ng Sining at Panitik noong Hunyo.
“I didn’t audition. We just had to wait since our whole year as courtside reporters is our audition tape for renewal. But they still held auditions and I know a lot of Thomasians who tried out for it,” dagdag niya.
Masisilayan si Manto sa unang laro ng Tigers kontra Ateneo de Manila University sa ika-4 ng Setyembre sa Araneta Coliseum, ganap na alas-4 ng hapon. Ivan Ruiz L. Suing.
