Bathwater

Perhaps her only fault

a sort of pale awakening,

her body missing the rain.

The skeleton now knows

how to move on its own,

dragging that sagging skin.

She strips her self of old

things dry, a rusting wire

Student achitects rebuild organization

WHEN the United Architects of the Philippines Student Auxiliary (UAPSA) - UST Chapter became stagnant for two years, it took only a simple question and a strong initiative to start anew and revive the moribund organization.

She later found out that the organization had been inactive due to the hectic schedule of the organization’s officers.

Portrait of a Thomasian hero

SELFLESS service, thinking about others’ welfare before one’s own—these are traits usually imprinted in the hearts of heroes. These same traits were in the heart of Hanz Paolo Lopez, a first-year student of the Faculty of Civil Law. These were the same traits that drove him to risk his own life in saving two young girls from electrocution in the flood in Sampaloc last month, which resulted in his own death.
