“Vertical articulation would provide synchronization between the academic disciplines and the faculties and colleges that they are related to,” ani Prop.

“There were already proposals to make A[rtlets] some sort of a service liberal arts college of the university, but it took several years to materialize … When some of our academic programs were able to acquire their center of excellence and center of development titles, we thought that we were ready to realign the programs [to the faculty],” ani Vasco.

“Vertical articulation means the programs from bachelor’s, then master’s, to the doctorate degree levels are compartmentalized and aligned accordingly to the academic unit that grants the degree,” ani Vasco. “This would also mean that the faculty members are now managed by an academic unit that is directly related to the subject that they are teaching.”

“The teachers are only academically aligned to the faculty.
