BECAUSE of constructions in the Beato Angelico Building, the University Bookstore was transferred to the recently vacated canteen beside the Engineering Complex last June 6.
According to Dr. Mecheline Manalastas, director of the UST Publishing House, officials considered accessibility to students in choosing the bookstore’s temporary home.
“Where it is now will only be temporary. It just so happens that the Engineering canteen was unoccupied when we had to move the bookstore. But if the students would prefer the new site, then we would permanently house it there,” Manalastas said.
Meanwhile, the bookstore will have the usual semestral opening discounts of up to 10 percent on all books.
Temporary outlets will be set up in the lobbies of the different colleges until June 30. Elka Krystle R. Requinta
