THE CONSERVATORY of Music (Music) will hold its 18th Summer Music Camp and Festival in Laoag and Batac, Ilocos Norte on May 22 to 29.
Headed by Prof. Herminigildo Renera as camp director, 200 students and 40 faculty members including the UST Symphony Orchestra, UST Symphonic Band, Koro Tomasino, and Liturgikon, will conduct seminars and outreach concerts for music teachers in Laoag and Batac.
“The four-day camp aims to give supplementary knowledge in the different parts of the locale,” Music faculty secretary Antonio Africa said.
“It would also be a venue for the students’ ensemble to undergo an in-house training in preparation for the upcoming school year,” he added. Jianne dL. Yamzon
