FOR its second major production this season, Teatro Tomasino, the official theater guild of UST, focuses on the consequences of pre-marital sex in its one-act play in Filipino, “June at Johnny,” on Dec. 13 to 15 at the Albertus Magnus Auditorium.

The play tells the story of two irrational teenagers who fall in love and become parents at an early age. It was written by Ustetika and Palanca award winner Jun Lana.

The play is directed by Teatro Tomasino alumnus Chi de Jesus, producer and director of MTV Asia and GMA 7. The 14-year-old June will be alternately portrayed by Education sophomore Gina Martinez, Nutrition and Dietetics sophomore Leann Lacanilao, honorary member Shirley Modelo, and Journalism sophomore Apprelle Dyogi.

Meanwhile, the 16-year-old Johnny will be alternately played by Hotel and Restaurant senior Aldous Sta. Maria and Commerce sophomore Bernardino Lim. Mary Elaine V. Gonda
