UNIVERSITY of Santo Tomas hotel and Restaurant Management students bagged major awards last Sept. 19 to 21 in the Chefs on Parade competition at the Philippine Trade and Training Center in Pasay City.

The UST team placed third in the Market Basket Competition headed by Missy Ann Gabriel, Melanie Mae Co, and Ailene Grace Nakpil.

Another bronze medal was won by the team of Kristine Santos, Veronica Mendoza, and Pamela Santiago in the Cake Decorating Contest.

Completing the winners is Erly Bora Davila, who won a bronze medal for the Purefoods Hand and Cold Cut presentation. Ma. Cristina S. Lavapie
