THE UNIVERSITY’S Master of Laws and Doctor of Civil Law programs are set to be offered under the newly established UST Graduate School of Law, beginning second semester of this academic year.
Maria Liza Lopez-Rosario, who obtained her bachelor’s degree in philosophy and bachelor of laws from UST in 1984 and 1988, respectively, is the inaugural dean of the Graduate School of Law.
Rosario, a faculty member at the UST Faculty of Civil Law, obtained her doctorate degree in civil law from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain in 1997.
The UST Faculty of Civil Law, the oldest law school in the Philippines, was the first to offer the Master of Laws and Doctor of Civil Law programs in the country.
Those are old existing programs right? You make it sound that they are just being offered now.
