THE UNIVERSITY retained its spot as the top-performing school in the June 2018 licensure examinations for architects, with three Thomasians landing in the top 10.
UST posted a passing rate of 84.19 percent or 197 out of 234 examinees, from last year’s 83.26 percent or 184 out of 221 examinees.
Karl Justin Diocales placed fourth with a score of 82.90 percent, while Jomari Patrick Guzman scored 82.60 percent and finished seventh.
Marie Dominic Castillo recorded a score of 82.20 percent, good for the the ninth spot.
Paolo Gabriel Martires of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines led the fresh batch of architects with a score of 84.20 percent.
This year’s national passing rate slightly increased to 55.96 percent or 1,778 out of 3,177 examinees passing, from last year’s 55.62 percent or 1,490 out of 2,679 examinees making it to the cut.
