UST aces guidance counselor board exams

THE UNIVERSITY posted a 100-percent passing rate in the August 2018 licensure exam for guidance counselors.

All four Thomasian examinees passed the exam, redeeming last year’s rock-bottom passing rate of zero.

Ma. Agatha Anne Dizon of University of the Assumption in San Fernando, Pampanga topped this year’s licensure exam, scoring 90.20 percent.

The national passing rate stood at 65.18 percent, or 307 out of 471 examinees, almost the same as last year’s 65.14 percent, or 256 out of 393 test takers.
