THE UNIVERSITY posted a 100-percent overall passing rate in the February 2020 licensure exams for physical and occupational therapists.

All seven Thomasian examinees passed the physical therapy (PT) board exams. Last year, UST posted a 93.75-percent passing rate in the PT exams.

Zsanfernes Ocampo of Angeles University Foundation led the new batch of physical therapists, with a score of 88.45 percent.

The national passing rate for the physical therapy board exams stood at 61.0 percent, or 729 out of 1,195 examinees, up from last year’s 59.98 percent, or 772 out of 1,287 examinees.

The University meanwhile maintained its perfect passing rate in the occupational therapy exams, with all six examinees passing the test.

Hannah Mae Corpuz from Velez College of Cebu topped the occupational therapist exams with an 83.00-percent score.

The national passing rate for the occupational therapy board exams rose to 73.61 percent, or 159 out of 216 examinees, from last year’s 57.82 percent, or 122 out of 211 examinees. Laurd Menhard B. Salen
