THE UNIVERSITY has released the collegiate calendar for Academic Year 2021 to 2022, fixing the start of regular classes on Aug. 9, 2021.
The Mass of the Holy Spirit or Misa de Apertura, which marks the start of the new academic year in the University, will be held on Aug. 2.
The traditional Paskuhan festivities were set on Dec. 17.
The start of the registration for the second term will be on Jan. 7. The second semester will begin on Jan. 18.
The Easter Break will be from April 11 to April 18.
The Student Awards Day was set for May 20.
The Baccalaureate Mass for graduating Thomasians was scheduled for May 27. Solemn Investitures will begin on June 1.
Registration for the special term was scheduled for June 2 to 3. The special term will begin on June 6.
The official calendar was signed by Acting Secretary General Fr. Louie Coronel, O.P. and University Registrar Cesar Velasco Jr.
UST has yet to release an official public announcement regarding the continuation of its “enriched virtual mode” next academic year but three medical and health-allied programs are set to begin conducting limited physical classes in the next two months.
Clerks from the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery began limited face-to-face classes earlier this month.
