A THOMASIAN clinched the ninth spot in the November 2021 licensure exams for civil engineers, where UST notched a 77.19-percent passing rate. 

Forty-four out of 57 Thomasian examinees made the cut. 

Rod Michael Lora Dacanay led the fresh batch of Thomasiane civil engineers with a score of 91 percent.

The University of the Philippines Diliman was the only top-performing school after recording a 92.86-percent passing rate, or 52 out of 56 examinees. 

Rajuv Nooh Dalagan Amil of the Ateneo de Davao University is this year’s topnotcher, with a score of 93.25 percent.

The national passing rate slid to 36.70 percent, or 2,374 out of 6,469 examinees, from November 2019’s 43.18 percent, or 6,510 out of 15,075 examinees.

The examinations were held from Nov. 14 to 15. It was postponed from earlier schedules in 2020 and in May this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic. J. B. Lim
