A THOMASIAN clinched the ninth spot in the February 2022 licensure examinations for master plumbers.

Thirty-two out of 34 examinees from UST passed for a 94.12-percent passing rate.

Engineering alumnus Ericcson Luy scored 82.80 percent to land on the ninth spot, tied with Jahashael Reyes from Central Luzon State University.

Lance Nathan Lim of the University of the Philippines-Diliman led the country’s newest batch of master plumbers with a score of 84.90 percent.

Bulacan State University and Camarines Norte State-College were named top-performing schools after both recorded perfect passing rates.

The national passing rate rose to 62.37 percent or 776 out of 1,244 examinees, from 41.69 percent or 552 out of 1,324.

The examinations were held from Feb. 15 to 16.
