THE FACULTY of Engineering has become the most populated college of the University, dislodging the College of Commerce.
Data from the Registrar’s office showed the Faculty now has 4,003 students, an increase of 864 students from last year’s 3,319. The increase is attributable to the transfer of Information Technology courses to the Faculty from the College of Science.
Despite the increase in the number of Engineering students, the University suffered a slight decrease in its enrolment. UST has 33,237 students this semester in contrast to the 33,585 students for the same period last year. Mary Elaine V. Gonda
