FOUR THOMASIANS landed in the Top Ten Best Speaker Award in the National Debate Championship-Benavidez Cup, entitled “Sigaw, the Campus Debate” last Oct. 25 at the UST Medicine Cinematorium.
Arnel Bornes of Team A, Enrique de la Cruz of Team C, Maria Victoria Cortez of Team Grad B and Marie Audrey Zaens of Team B, ranked 3rd, 5th, 8th, and 9th.
The tournament used the British Parliamentary debate. William Panlilio and Bobby Benedicto of Ateneo de Manila University emerged as champions.
