UNIVERSITY was again named the top-performing school in the 2015 licensure
examinations for psychometricians, with eleven Thomasians landing in the top
10, including first place.

UST
registered an 89.25-percent passing rate with 166 passers out of 186 examinees
making the cut, results from the Professional Regulation Commission showed.
This was higher than the University’s 81.91-percent passing rate in the first
psychometrics exams last year, wherein 163 passed out of 199 examinees.

Leading
the newest set of registered psychometricians was Van Alistair Faeldon with a
score of 84.20.

Other
Thomasians in the top 10 were Christine Allen Cadacio at third place, together
with Mary Donnavel Libron of University of the Philippines (UP) Visayas, Jelli
Grace Luzano of Mindanao State University and Amee Florence Payno of De La
Salle University. All got a score of 83.80 percent.

Criselle
Chua, Christina Gracia Meron and Lyka Paraboles placed fifth with identical
scores of 83.20-percent, along with Dianne Flores and Chzarleen Angelu Montecer
of Pamantasan Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM), Donn Zarny Han of Our Lady of Fatima
University (Fatima) and Mary Anne Montoya of Angeles University Foundation.

At sixth
place was Alexandria Daplas with a score of 83.00, tied with Almira Joy Dela
Roca of Lyceum of the Philippines University-Batangas, James Patrick
Divinagracia of Xavier University, Marc Clint Maceda of University of San
Carlos and Elaine Fatima Simon of Saint Louis University.

With a
score of with 82.80, Lisette Angela Natial shared the seventh place with Ronnel
Asumbrado of Adventist University of the Philippines, Donald Jay Bertulfo of
Ateneo de Manila and Gay Angelou Crisostomo of Centro Escolar University.

Lyra
Therese Dizon and Jamie Therese Lim ranked eighth with 82.60, tied with Guia
Victoria and Erron Christopher Bacalan of Far Eastern University (FEU),
Kimberly Jane Du of Ateneo de Davao, Allison Gail Hermoso of Saint
Scholastica’s College, Febby Kirstin Ibita of San Pedro College, Sherla Laserna
of PLM, Alvin Mapoy from Bulacan State University, Rina Molina of Saint
Scholastica’s and Margarita Muñoz of UP-Diliman.

Placing
ninth with a score of 82.40 was Hannah Grace Rivera, tied with Jamaica Aquino
of Bulacan State, Nathaniel Asuncion of FEU, Sheena Bautista of Xavier
University, Margaret Dizon of Ateneo de Manila, Julie Onido of FEU and Steven
Rabago of Cebu Normal University.

Camille
Sigrid Vasquez placed 10th after getting a score of 82.20,
along with Drazella Abluyen of FEU, Jesse Basilio of Saint Mary’s University,
Robejean Cabarrubias of University of San Jose, Charinna Castro of Holy Angel
University, Karen Anne Desengaño of Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Marie Ocampo
of Ateneo de Manila, Geraldine Oh of Ateneo de Zamboanga, lmira Reciproco of
Fatima, Dianne Rubios of Ateneo de Naga and Jane Sarsalejo of San Carlos.

The
national passing rate went up to 46.15 percent (2,061 passers out of 4,466
takers) from last year’s 39.29-percent (1,290 passers out of 3,283
takers). 

Meanwhile,
three out of four Thomasians passed the July licensure examination for
psychologists, yielding a 42.86-percent passing rate. Jerome P.
